This beautiful block-printed Kantha blanket features adorable fishes, tigers, and elephants in various shades of blue, orange, and grey. Block printing is a traditional form of art in India. Artisans stamp lengths of cotton fabric with color using hand-carved wood blocks. Many times, the prints are done in multiple layers. The outcome is a vibrant pattern that exemplifies the culture around it.
