Hi! I’m Tyra, owner of The Global Local, global traveler and proud Leesburg local. After living abroad for nearly 15 years in places like India, Tunisia, Syria, and the Netherlands, I developed a deep appreciation for handcrafted goods and the stories behind them. That love inspired me to create a shop where every item means something, whether it’s made by a local artist, a Fair Trade cooperative, or a small-batch maker halfway around the world.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Leesburg, The Global Local is a boutique gift shop rooted in community, creativity, and connection. We feature a thoughtfully curated mix of goods, hand-poured candles, sustainable gifts, artisan jewelry, global fashion, and treasures for the home. Our candle bar and vintage china workshops bring people together to create, celebrate, and make memories in a beautiful space filled with heart.
